I taught this class “Moving with the Moon” during the Manifest Your Vision Yoga retreat in January with Kristen Horner, owner of Graceful Serenity Yoga Retreats. It was amazing and I highly recommend it! I thought you might enjoy learning a bit about the moon’s cycles too. Now in this workshop, I was a bit long and windy, as this was a personalized training for the group of yogis who attended. In this class we covered:
The 8 Phases of the Moon – from New Moon to Full Moon – and how they complement each other.
The energy, qualities and descriptions of each phase.
Finding our own personal moon phase by looking in our natal chart.
Comparing those qualities to ourselves and discussion about building a calendar of our best days each month by finding our natal moon phase in the current moon phase cycle.
Then we learned about the zodiac moon, which switches signs every 2 1/2 days, and how to install a phone app that can tell you which sign the moon is in. This is how you can easily start to feel the energy and notice astrology happening in real time in your own life!
